We use information to provide and improve FoodABCs, maintain accounts, personalize features, process user requests, analyze meals and wellness activity, deliver notifications, provide customer support, operate partner and API services, prevent misuse, protect safety and security, comply with law, and enforce our terms.

We may use de-identified or aggregated information for analytics, product improvement, reporting, research, and business purposes. We do not use that information to identify individual users unless permitted by law and our policies.

Some information handled by FoodABCs may be sensitive, including health, wellness, medication, mood, location, demographic, and account-access information. We use sensitive information only for the services you request, account and security operations, legal compliance, and other purposes described in this policy.

We do not sell sensitive health or wellness information. We do not use sensitive health or wellness information for targeted advertising.

FoodABCs may use automated systems and service providers to interpret user-submitted content, generate wellness-related insights, improve app workflows, support analytics, and help operate the service. These features may process only the information reasonably needed for the requested feature or workflow.

Automated outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate. You should review results carefully and consult qualified professionals for medical, nutrition, medication, or safety decisions.

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, operate, analyze, support, communicate, process payments, and improve FoodABCs. These providers are allowed to use information only as needed to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law.

We may share information with connected services, partners, or integrations when you choose to connect them, when an authorized business relationship requires it, or when you direct us to share information.

We may share information if required by law, legal process, safety needs, fraud prevention, security investigations, enforcement of our terms, or a business transaction such as a merger, financing, sale, or transfer of assets.

We may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.

You can update certain account, profile, notification, and permission settings in the app or on your device. You can also choose whether to grant access to device features such as camera, location, notifications, or health-related integrations.

You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your information by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request, and some information may be retained where required or permitted for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution, or compliance reasons.

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the services, maintain accounts, support users, meet legal and operational requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect security, and preserve appropriate records.

When an account is deleted, we delete or de-identify account-linked information according to our deletion process unless retention is required or permitted for the purposes described above.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

FoodABCs is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to FoodABCs, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to review and remove the information.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, export, or limit certain uses of personal information or sensitive information. You may also have rights to opt out of certain sharing, sales, targeted advertising, or profiling where those rights apply.

FoodABCs does not sell personal information. If our practices change in a way that requires additional notice or choices, we will update this policy and provide any legally required controls.

FoodABCs is operated from the United States. If you use the services from another location, your information may be processed in the United States or other places where we or our service providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
